Law Changes in the Women's game

National Challenge 2 Law Changes

Following the work of the Women's Competition Review Group and

consultation with National Challenge 2 teams from the 2022/23 season,

National Challenge 2 will now play to full World Rugby laws, rather than

World Rugby U19 laws (which will remain at National Challenge 3).

Game On [2] has also now been approved at National Challenge 2 also.

Any usage of Game On principles must be mutually agreed by teams and

communicated to the match official pregame.

The regulation to match player numbers, subject to the laws of the game

(6.59) is still in place for National Challenge 2 and below leagues.
